Waiting for Snow

When I was growing up in the midwest, we would wake up on a winter morning and say, "I hope it snows, today!"  Now, that we live in the south, my kids say, "I hope it snows this year!"  The girls' older sister, Anna, came up with the idea of paper snowflakes for this week's I Heart Faces theme:  Paper!

PERFECT!!!! Being from the South, I know what it's like to dream of snow and only get the paper kind. :+) LOVE THIS!

OH! how precious! I am from the midwest, now living in CA, so I know what you are talking about! But we can escape to the mountains for some snow play... and then return to our green grass!! :-)

Gosh, this is wonderful. I grew up in Minnesota and remember praying for a "snow day"! The paper snowflakes are also a blast from the past for me as we hung them all over the windows, as though we didn't have enough snow! Anyway, I love this shot!
