Apple Pie in a Jar

My big brother turned 40 this month, and for his birthday, my sister-in-law made these adorable little apple pies.  My brother doesn't like sweets, but he'll eat pie.  I think he's adopted.  See the cute pie vents that say, "40"?

Since I don't have step by step photos of the How To, I thought I'd give you the process in reverse, starting with the scoop of ice cream that simply must go on top.  Are you ready?  SCROLL!

Happy Birthday, Brother!
Wishing you another sweet year!

Re: nope, we live in Minnesota! But you're right, it's kind of like sweet potato casserole. :)

My friend made these for her wedding. She had a picnic themed wedding this summer. They were great. Thanks for sharing this with us all at WFMW.

Blessings!
Ha. I like the "bite by bite" rather than a "play by play." What a cute pie idea. Thank you so much for sharing at Savvy HomeMade Monday!
