Super Simple 2-Ingredient Pinwheels

Don't you love it when you find a recipe that's completely delicious, looks impressive and couldn't be easier?
If you said yes, then you will LOVE these Easy Peasy Pinwheels!

The kids love them so much that I've been making them for breakfast and after school snacks.
I think I'll even make them for the Big Game this Sunday!

Two ingredients are all that stack the lineup:  Pimento Cheese Spread and Crescent Rolls!

Start by rolling out the crescent rolls into one big sheet on parchment or a Silpat mat.
Use a rolling pin to seal the perforated lines.

Spread 6-8 ounces of pimento cheese spread on top.

Starting with the long side, tightly roll the dough into a tube.

Slice the tube into 16 rounds.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Taste the buttery, cheesy goodness melt in your mouth.

These will disappear faster than Madonna's half-time show!

Comments

This reminds me of my pepperoni pinwheels with a fraction of the effort.

You had me at two ingredients.

Ps I've never had pimento cheese spread. Would you find it next to cheese whiz?
Down South, Pimento Cheese spread is a staple. Our grocery store makes their own! I've also seen it at Costco! If you can't find the real Pimento Cheese spread, a distant cousin could be found in the refrigerated section, or just use sharp cheddar. I tried it once with a flavored cream cheese, but it didn't have the bite of the cheddar.

These look so easy even my husband can make them!! I'm going to give this recipe to him, since he accepted an invitation to a superbowl party without asking me and then said, "What will you make to take?"!!!! Thanks for sharing and I'm your newest follower!
