iheartfaces - Motherhood

This week's photo challenge was "Motherhood".  Since my own mom lives 1000 miles away (boo-hoo!) and I'm not a professional photographer, I thought I would step outside my comfort zone and put myself in front of the camera.  I guess I qualify - four kids and all!  And this is pretty much the way life is..... a little chaotic, some laughing, some crying, trying daily to make a connection, stuck together like glue.

I was able to keep the kids' attention long enough to snap two pics with my iPhone.  This one was the best of the two.  If only my arms were longer - you could have seen all of Ella!  But as Samuel aptly observed, "At least we got the football in the picture!"

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Love the football comment! That is a great picture...as you point out the connectedness, and the eye contact with your son. I think it's beautiful!

I love it! Capturing it with an iPhone no less, who needs those big bulky cameras anyway. :-)

Fantastic! And I love the perspective from above rather than in front.

Thank you for stopping by and the kind words.
